Peace in stadiums.
We need your cooperation in order to keep it.

Japanese

April 20, 1996. At Yokohama Derby Match, the accident was happened .
Enthusiastic, sometimes neglecting rules,
supporters were expressing their loyalty for their favorite teams.
From the stand they threw articles into the field,
which has become almost customary.
But on that day,
thrown twelve coins hit the head of a player
of the opposite team.

When professional soccer league had been founded,
no one had ever imagined
there would be such a shameful behavior in Japan,
where courtesy and social order are highly respected.

We have to say, however,
the accident was deserved to be happened.
A petty violence could escalate
into a serious one if you leave it as it is.
As soccer lovers, we should try our best
to keep peace in stadiums.

Stadiums in Japan have been the envy
of all over the world,
as they are so safe and so liberal
and even a woman or a child can come to enjoy the games
without anxiety.
We should never give them up.
And we believe every stadium in any country
should be peaceful,
which is not something special, it is very natural thing.
Violence case is rare currently at a Japanese stadium.
But, during the world, there is the stadium which is danger a large quantity.

The objective of this site is
to remove the violence from stadiums,
the violence like making appeal to force,
throwing articles into field,
threatening speech and behavior to stir up the antagonism,
vain booing against the opposite team,
strange sense of superiority to other fans.
If you agree with us,
please leave your name here.
And when you find violence in stadiums,
please get encouraged to say "stop it".
It may be dangerous for you to do so
but at least do not ignore the violence.

If you have a home page about soccer,
place the gif file of our campaign logo on your page
and make it to be linked to this page.

Let's stop the violence in stadiums
as we, succer lovers, can cooperate each other.
